About TIS : Corporate Support Structure

The TIS support network begins with the firm's principals. With more than 100 years of combined industry experience, they provide hands-on management for all services offered by the firm.
TIS recognizes that strong senior management support is vital to the success of any inspection program. This support is provided throughout the inspection process: from the triage of inspection assignments to the editorial supervision of the final inspection narrative.
This high level of participation by the firm's principals has made TIS the vendor of choice for insurers, risk managers, and managing general agencies nationwide.
Robert L. Wasserman, CPCU
President

Prior to joining TIS, Bob served as a senior underwriting manager for several innovative insurers. Bob's unique perspective -- as a former buyer of outsourced inspection services -- allows TIS to offer clients a greater breadth of insight into the nuances and subtleties of the risk. His extensive industry experience includes claims management, underwriting, the development of reinsurance programs, and loss control survey management.
Bob holds a CPCU designation from the American Institute for Property and Liability Underwriters, Inc., granted in 1978, and is an Adjunct Professor of Insurance at Sullivan County Community College in Loch Sheldrake, NY.
Geoffrey Persten
Vice President

Geoff founded TIS in 1983 and is responsible for all operational procedures and processes within TIS.
